Scholarship
Early in its formation, the members of Behind the Chutes, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, understood the importance of supporting the youth in the area. It had been the desire to provide scholarships for the graduating seniors. In 2025, a formal scholarship program was developed. Over $50,000 was awarded to youth in the South Plains area with rodeo and agricultural backgrounds. Going forward, it is the mission of Behind the Chutes to continue providing scholarships for the youth of the South Plains who are interested in rodeo, ranching, farming and other agricultural fields.
These scholarships range from $2,500 to $5,000. We are seeking qualified applicants who have excelled in their areas of studies and are active in their community. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the scholarship application form below & submit it as instructed.
