Behind the Chutes, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that with the generous support of our advertising sponsors and donors, offers distinctive scholarship opportunities for youth in the South Plains area. Our mission is to promote rodeo, agriculture, and the lifestyle through our various events. This year, during the Cook's Rodeo Days events, there will be several opportunities to compete for scholarships. We are thrilled to introduce the Calf Scramble during the Pro Rodeo performances on 23rd and 24th.
We also are taking applications for scholarships. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the scholarship application & submit it as instructed.

Behind the Chutes, Inc. has several unique advertising levels available for our highly anticipated 2025 events at Cook's Garage, which feature a thrilling lineup of rodeo competitions and entertainment. Our events include the 2nd Annual Ranch Rodeo, 4th Annual JR Rodeo, and 5th Annual Cook's Rodeo Days Pro Rodeo. In addition, we've added a NEW one-day Steer Show that will be held October 19th. Our Inaugural Calf Fry, which features live music, a silent and live auction, food and drinks, provide even more opportunities to showcase your brand to a passionate community of rodeo and music enthusiasts, not just in Texas, but across the nation. For 2025, we are excited to continue our partnership with the Cowboy Channel for national broadcast coverage of the Ranch Rodeo and the Pro Rodeos. These broadcasts will be replayed frequently, ensuring your brand gets extended national exposure to a wide audience. All of these events are designed to raise funds in support of youth in agriculture in the South Plains area, making your sponsorship a contribution to a great cause while promoting your brand to a dedicated audience!
