"Great Movie! Really shows the in's and out's of going down the road!" ... Jason Brown
"Behind The Chutes arrived in my mailbox on a Saturday during the NFL playoffs. Living in Texas, rodeo is a big part of the culture, no matter where you are or what you do.
That evening, the family was invited out to the country for some great football and Bar-B-Que. My friend James Rodriguez lives on 5 acres with his family and horses. James, in his younger days, was a bronc and bull rider. Rodeo is still a huge part of his life, so it was great to settle into the movie after the games were over with him, our wives and kids. During the show, no one moved from their respective places around the TV. And James commentary and personal experience reflections while we watched were priceless.
This movie truly catches the sprit and all that is involved in bronc riding and rodeo. The ups and the downs, the family aspects, the relationships between the riders, the wear and tear on the body, and their love for the sport. There was a great flow to the film, not a dull moment and each story line had a beginning and an end that didn't leave you guessing with any questions. And the soundtrack by Chris LeDoux was outstanding. I hope his label puts it out on disc for everyone to enjoy.
If you're a fan of rodeo, Behind The Chutes is a must see. If you don't know a thing about the sport, this film is a great educational tool. And if your not a fan after watching it, it just wasn't meant to be.
My friend James wants to invite all of his rodeo buddies out to his place for an evening of fun with Behind The Chutes. That's one party this Texas boy is not going to miss!"

"Having known Ann Lukacs for over twenty years now I know first hand how hard she worked to give this project her best effort. Every rodeo fan needs to add this great movie to their collection. Ann has done the Pro Rodeo community a huge favor by completing this look into the real world of the bareback bronc rider. This movie has heart and heart is what it is all about. It is as easy to watch as falling out of a saddle."
Dennis Bryan, Bryan Ranch
"I have know and worked with Ann for many years. I know what it took to make this film. I have watched it, first at the premier and then at least 5 times at home, on my personal copy from Ann.
This is the best film that I have seen. It shows so much more than what people ever think about when they see a bronc rider. My son took the film to his school and his class watched it, during their Colorado History class. The kids loved it, and the teachers did too. It was the talk of the school for many days.
I want to congratulate Ann on a job more than well done.
A must see for all rodeo fans, and those that think they know what happens behind the chutes. A new perspective will be seen the next time you watch these men get on for their 8 second ride.
Awesome job Annie."

"...what an outstanding job you did on the project! You really showed what it is like out on the rodeo circuit. Thank you so much for your effort. This will be something we will watch over and over again. It sure made us miss all of our rodeo family."
Laura Mayo
"It is so well done! You really captured the lives of the riders and their love for the sport. It takes a lot of guts to go out there and be at the mercy of those bucking broncos! And it seems like they don't get rich off of it either!"
Betty Ann Hajkus
"It was WONDERFUL ... YOU truly did a great job ... I love it ... You had me in tears ..."
